In our last project post, we showed how we repaired the exterior foundation wall of an emergency water intrusion repair. Here's how we finished the inside -- efficient work meant we were able to get the room reoccupied in under a week.
We installed blocking boards to support the block wall, and a new sole plate (bottom board) section for the wall where it had been damaged.
After that came insulation, drywall, spackle and finally, paint.
Finishing touches: A new baseboard heater, vinyl plank flooring, and new baseboard trim completed the project interior!
Soon we will wrap up with the exterior landscaping.
