Entry Door Revitalized

 We recently renovated an entry door with two sidelights by removing the door and sidelights from the rotten jamb, and placing them in a new jamb, made with rot resistant materials.

 

 
Cedar casing on the exterior, new stained Colonial casing on the interior, and reusing the existing storm door, and the reconstructed unit looks like new, at a substantial savings to the homeowner.

Threshold Rebuilt

We recently rebuilt this entranceway threshold for one of our great customers.

The box beams had rotted out and the threshold had collapsed.

A new step and landing was incorporated into the repair.

When the treated wood has dried, the toe-kick and steps will be stained to match the trim, and it will be like new.

Lifechurch Deck

 We recently began helping our church build a new deck.  "You have to break a few eggs to make an omlet."

"It'll fix"

I have a saying, "It'll fix."  Sometimes it takes a little extra effort.  For this job, we had to move a 1300 lb. concrete step to be able to repair the damage to the houses double box beam, caused by a lack of flashing, and carpenter ants.  The damaged beams removed, repair made with proper flashing, the step put back, and now better than new.

Independence Day

Happy Fourth of July!  May we take the time in our celebrations to remember that freedom is never free, that it comes with and at a cost.  Freedom is not the ability to do whatever we want to do, rather, it is having the opportunity to choose who we will serve.  Be safe.

May we remember

I heartfelt thank you to all who serve and have served our nation in the armed forces in defense of our country, and especially to those, and the family members of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our nations freedom.  May we also remember the one who died for us to grant us eternal freedom.  May God Bless America and grant it repentance.

A busy week

Preparing for a busy week with an accessible handrail installation, a home theatre installation, and prepping for a tile shower project. Wednesday we have our meeting with the Pocono Business Referral Exchange. Have a great week as the weather begins to warm.

Headed out

Headed out to do a Caretaker Property Inspection today (we look after your property when you are away), and look at some other home repairs.
