Last Chance for the Energy Savings Tax Credit

Energy saving products and home improvements that qualify for the Energy Tax Credit must be purchased and installed by December 31, 2010 to be able to claim the $1500 maximum credit on your 2010 income tax return. Product categories that have eligible products include doors, windows, siding, and water heaters. Some categories include product and installation labor costs, others only the product price. Be sure your professional installer is installing a tax credit eligible product.
