Garage Remodel Part 2:

It's been busy around here, but we wanted to make sure and share an update on the garage project we've been highlighting. (check out Part 1)

Once the garage door is blocked up, it is framed out (above); sheathing added, and new bathroom window installed.

On the side of the garage the one old window opening gets closed in, and the openings for the two new windows get framed in. The door opening will be widened and raised up to accommodate the new exterior door at the new floor level.

Finally, house wrap and aluminum siding is used to complete the enclosure of the former garage door opening on the front of the house.

Starting to really come together! In Part 3, we'll go inside and see the progress on the building of the interior floor and framing out of the new bathroom.
